Italian Lease Agreements during Covid-19: Where does force majeure not apply

Abstract

Commercial lease agreements have not been spared the knock-on effects of the pandemic. Following  containment measures by Italy’s government and regional presidents, many traders and entrepreneurs  were forced to suspend their activities for substantial time periods. They have suffered significant  economic losses.
